ALXSw uses painting to express a personal storytelling. Her paintings oscillate between minimalism and iconic abstractions and have their roots in the art of Shodo (Zen calligraphy). She believes the purpose of art is to provide healing, stimulation, voice, challenge, mirroring, and documentation of a culture and its subcultures.
